I also expressed concern regarding the difficult <br /> "Conflict of Interest" position our department was in in <br /> terms of our enforcement responsibilities for fellow <br /> County departments . I suggested that perhaps an <br /> alternative would be for us to ask the Regional Water <br /> Quality to assume the responsibilities for monitoring and <br /> mitigation activities for County sites only. While I do <br /> not believe this is the best alternative, unless we can <br /> resolve the County' s response to these issues , I feel <br /> there are no other really good alternatives . <br /> We agreed you would consider this information and talk with <br /> the various County departments involved and develop a plan of <br /> action that you felt was feasible.
