The solid and liquid spoils from this procedure
can be placed in steel bins which are used by the Southwest Hide Company.
The liquid can be removed and placed into the lined evaporation ponds
on the property.
The solid material can be tested covered with plastic and stored on site
until the level of contamination is determine. It is very likely that
some kind of leaching treatment for the soil can be completed on the
property, if necessary.
We welcome any comments or concerns you might have regarding this matter
and would like to begin cleaning these wells as soon as possible. Please
let us know whether this general work plan meets with you approval .
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Kurt Balasek
or myself at (916) 920-3518.
Sincerely,
L.A.
