Additional Site Assessment and Remediation Feasibility Testing Work Plan <br /> • Former FISCO WAREHOUSE (Howard Lenz Property) <br />' 1648 Shaw Road, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Peter Lenz,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this work <br />' plan for the vertical assessment of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted ground water and the <br /> performance of a soil vapor extraction pilot test at 1648 Shaw Road,Stockton, California(site) The <br /> location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' The San Joaquin Count Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) has <br /> q Y m <br /> directed by letter dated 25 June 2001 that a work plan be prepared to assess the vertical extent of <br />' impacted ground water and to perform a soil vapor extraction(SVE)pilot test A copy of the letter <br /> is included as Appendix A This work plan is prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for the investigation of underground storage <br />' tanks (UST) sites <br />' Background information and results of previous investigations at the site can be found in the <br /> AGE-prepared documents, Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan, dated 21 August 2000 and <br /> Monitoring Well Installation and Quarterly Report-First Quarter 2001,dated 23 March 2001 Soil <br />' and ground water data from the previous investigations can be found in Tables 1 through 4 <br /> Cross-sections depicting the general lithology and the approximate distribution of contaminants in <br /> the soil beneath the site are illustrated on Figures 3 through 6 Maps depicting the approximate <br />' distribution of dissolved TPH-g, TPH-d and benzene are illustrated on Figures 7, 8 and 9 <br /> The lateral and vertical extent of impacted soil has been defined and the lateral extent of impacted <br />' ground water has been defined The vertical extent of impacted ground water has not been defined <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Based on the data accumulated from previous investigations and quarterly monitoring, AGE <br />' proposes to advance three cone penetrometer testing (CPT) soil borings to collect ground water <br /> samples to assess the vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater Additionally, <br /> AGE proposes to perform a SVE pilot test for remediation feasibility testing The assessment <br />' activities will consist of the following tasks <br />' • Permitting and pre-field work preparations, <br /> • CPT soil boring advancement, <br />' • Ground water sample collection and analysis, <br /> • • Performance of an SVE pilot test, and <br />' Advanced GeoEnvi ron mental,Inc <br />
