All fire extinguishers have been charged. See attached "Butch Young Receipt."
Violation#403
4. The ring on the 55 gallon drum has been secured.
2. The 5 gallon bucket behind the cleaning machines has been replaced with a bucket with a better fitting
lid. See attachment "Waste Container."
Violation#406
This violation, as written, is for a 55 gallon drum. The drum is actually 30 gallons. We requested this drum from
our hazardous waste hauler to hold used filters when removed from our cleaning machine. It was delivered
empty and has never had any filters in it. We maintain an empty drum because sometimes filters fail before their
normal replacement time, and we wanted an empty container should that occur. When the normal replacement
time comes, we will put those filters in that container. So, to sum, there has never been any waste in this
container to manage.
Violation#601
This violation is for three containers which have been onsite for more than 180 days. The two smaller
containers hold Solvair residue, which is not hazardous waste. We have submitted a request to Stericycle to
send that waste to the Small Quantity Generator Waste facility at Stockton Airport. That facility is closed due to
the pandemic, and there is no scheduled date to reopen.
A request has been submitted to Technichem, our hazardous waste hauler, to pick up the 55 gallon drum. They
are not operating during the Pandemic, but promised to send a truck when they resume operations.
Violation#605
1. The label on the 55 gallon drum has been correctly filled out. See attachment "Drum Label."
2. The waste in the 5 gallon plastic container is not hazardous waste.
3. The waste in the 2nd 5 gallon container is not hazardous waste. A request has been submitted to
Stericycfle to process both containers.
4. The 5 gallon bucket located behind the cleaning machines has been properly labeled. See attachment
"waste contianer label."
5. A request has been submitted to Stericycle to process the contents of the two 30 gallon drums containing
hydrocarbon cleaning fluid. See attachment"Hazardous Waste Manifest."
As soon as the waste processing companies reopen, I will advise you of the anticipated dates of compliance. If
there is anything you would like me to do in the meantime, please advise.
2
