San Joaquin Street, Stockton, California. <br /> We represent Marian Cecile Mohr Fry, the owner of the above-referenced property. <br /> FabriCare Community Linen Rental Service was a former tenant of the property located at <br /> 711 S. San Joaquin Street in Stockton and had assumed responsibility for the remediation <br /> required at this site. In that our client is still receiving statements from the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Services regarding this site, we have recently contacted the <br /> County to inquire as to the status of this cleanup. <br /> E <br /> Harlin Knoll from Environmental Health Services (Phone: 209-468-3442) called this <br /> office yesterday and reported that he-has beeri involved with this site since 1990. Prior to <br /> that time,Darlene Royce at the County-was involved with the site: Both Ms:.--Royce and <br /> Mr. Knoll had been working with Jay Grant, the attorney for FabriCare. Mr. Knoll <br /> informed us that Mr. Grant, on January 3, 1995, informed him that you are now the <br /> attorney handling the FabriCare bankruptcy and that future invoices should be sent to you. <br /> There was formerly a 10,000 gallon underground tank located at this site. According to <br /> Mr. Knoll, following removal of the tank, soil samples were taken and an overexcavation <br /> done in an effort to remove any contamination. The soil samples were taken to determine <br /> whether all gasoline and hydrocarbons had been removed. The soil samples tested <br /> positive for tuolene. The Water Control Board required a groundwater investigation with <br /> regard to the-site. FabriCare contracted with American Environmental in order to install <br /> three monitoring wells. When FabriCare started going through bankruptcy, it failed to pay <br />
