-James Stang, Esq.
` Page 2
November 29, 1995
the statements from American Environmental who subsequently refused to release their
report to San Joaquin County. As a result, this matter has not yet been concluded.
Although the report has not been fully released to the County, Mr. Knoll was able to
obtain a copy of a portion of the report. He indicates that there does not appear to be a
major problem remaining. The three monitoring wells remain on the site. Samples need
to be drawn from the wells. If the well samples are clean, the wells can then be destroyed
under permit. Everything must then be tied together in a final report.
In that the cleanup of this site has been the responsibility of FabriCare since the 1980's, it
would appear'
that FabriCare needs to complete this cleanup process in order to bring.. -_ _._ . .
closure to this site with the County. Please contact me at your earliest convenience so
that we can discuss the manner in which this work can be completed.
Very truly yours,
VARNI, FRASER,HARTWELL&RODGERS
Anthony B.
