No soil borings were completed in the <br /> vicinity of Tank B, since this tank was closed prior to the enactment of current <br /> underground storage tank regulations. Also enclosed are the well permit applications and <br /> well placement diagrams for the initial monitoring well installations and soil sampling <br /> borehole. These diagrams are listed as Figures 6 and 7 of the Preliminary Report. The two <br /> downgradient wells cannot be positioned until the downgradient groundwater direction has <br /> been determined.
