WORK PLAN OF LIMITED SUBSURFACE INVETSIGATION <br /> TO BE LOCATED AT 210 SOUTH SACRAMENTO STREET <br /> IN LODI, (SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY), CALIFORNIA <br /> SITE NAME: Sacramento Street <br /> SITE NUMBER: BRN-SC-13338A <br /> 1..0 Site Description and History <br /> The subject property is located at 210 South Sacramento Street in the city of Lodi, San.Joaquin County, <br /> California and is a rectangular shaped parcel of Land.(Figure 1). The site is accessed via a paved entrance <br /> from.Sacramento Street and consists of a pavedparking area with a series of small garages/shops located <br /> on the eastern edge of the site. A chain-link fence surrounds the subject property and.an, access gate is <br /> designedto close the site to public access during non-business hours. The auto shop is contained within a <br /> series of five interconnected garages and an office area on the eastern. edge of the subject property that <br /> open directly to the parking .lot adjacent to the cast. A carport located on the southeast corner of the site <br /> serves as a.used oil and automotive fluid collection area. <br /> The proposed facility would be located on the southwest comer of the subject property about 150-feet <br /> west of the automotive shop and :include a 15- by 20-foot lease areathat would contain equipment <br /> cabinets and a 78-foot monopole. Utility connections to the proposed .facility would be made via existing <br /> utilities located along the east side of the subject property, The lease area wouldbe contained within a <br /> chain link fence and access would be limited to authorized personnel only_ <br /> A review of historical.information revealed that the site has been a developed commercial property since <br /> the early 1900s. The site formerly conta.incd a soda works from 1908 to 1926 and was converted to an. <br /> auto sacs lot from.1950 to 1970_ aerial photographs from 1976, 1993, and.2002 identify structures that <br /> appear to be the same structures that currently exist on tiic site. The subject property has been used as an <br /> automotive repair shop since the 1980s. Surrounding properties were used for commercial.and light- <br /> industrial uses. <br /> 2.0 Purpose and Scope of the Investigation <br /> 2.1 Purpose <br /> The purpose and scope of the project is to take soil samples at two locations identified on Figure 2 and <br /> conduct laboratory analysis for the presence of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and Total Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbons Diesel Range Organics (TPR-DRO). <br /> The scope of work will consist of the following: <br /> • Collecting soil samples from two boring locations; <br /> • Analyzing soil samples for VOC using EPA Method 8260 and TPH-DRO by EPA Method 8015; and <br /> • Preparing a soil sample report of site activities and analytical results. <br /> Work Plan <br /> Site Name: Sacramento Street 1 MMPUCh'. <br /> Site Number: BRNSC-13338 <br />
