r
a._
` 433 Scotts, Stockton
Page 2
northeast'of MW2 and further away from the former UST location should be
evaluated. The soil boring proposed for the apartment;parking lot should be
completed to a minimum depth of 35 feet since soil sample-MW2-35'.had______._-
contamination. The boring northwest of MW-1 on.the Sierra Lumber site may not ,
be necessary since an environmental assessment was.'conducted in June 2004
at the lumber yard and two borings were drilled in that location and soil and
groundwater samples were collected. The information from that site work should
be used to evaluate the extent of contamination in that'direction. An addendum
to the February 15, 2005, work plan that addresses the above comments should
be submitted to EHD by April 11, 2005.
If you have any questions contact me at (209)468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
I, Environmental Health Department
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Unit IV
c: CVRWQCB —Jim Barton
AGE — Dan Kalmbach
