As a result of
a misunderstanding by ERM's field technician, monitoring well MW-3 was
only analyzed for TPH-D Although a sample for BTEX analysis was not
collected, TPH-G and BTEX compounds have not been detected at this site to
date. TPH-G and BTEX analysis will be performed on all future groundwater
. samples for this site.
Results
No target chemical constituents were detected in groundwater samples from
monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-2. An unidentified hydrocarbon
compound (C12-C19) was detected in monitoring well MW-3 at a
concentration of 84 gg/l. This result is very close to the method detection
limit of 50 gg/l. Evaluation of the sample chromatogram pattern suggests
that the compound is in the diesel range.
All sampling results are summarized in Table 2. Complete laboratory
analytical results and Chain-of-Custody forms are included in Attachment A.
Tab1e_2
Analytical Results -First Quarter 1995
Well ID TPH-G TPH-D BTEX
MW-1 <50 gg/l <.50 gg/l <0.50 gg/1
MW-2 <50 gg/l <50 gg/l <0.50 gg/1
.
