(AGE) has prepared this report for the destruction of ten wells at <br /> 15615 South 7th Street, Lathrop, California. The site location is depicted in Figure 1; site <br /> structures and former well locations are depicted in Figure 2. <br /> INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND <br /> Ten(10)single-completed shallow groundwater monitoring wells(MW-1 through MW-8 and j <br /> DPE-1 and DPE-2) had been installed on-site and off-site as part of a subsurface ! <br /> investigation of the former underground storage tank(UST)area at 15615 South 7th Street, <br /> Lathrop, California. The total depths and screen intervals of the wells are summarized in <br /> Table 1. <br /> The monitoring wells were destroyed as outlined in the AGE-prepared, Well Destruction <br /> Work Plan, dated 10 July 2012. All wells were destroyed under San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(EHD)boring permits; and off-site wells were destroyed <br /> under city of Lathrop encroachment permit (Appendix A). <br /> PROCEDURES <br /> Well destruction activities were performed between 16 and 18 October 2012 by All Well <br /> Abandonment of Sacramento, California. Prior to commencement of well destruction <br /> activities each well casing was sounded with a Solinst water level meter to ensure that no <br /> obstructions were present in the casings. Wells MW-1 through MW-8 and DPE-1 and <br /> DPE-2 were drilled-out to one foot deeper than total depth using a CME-75 Limited Access <br /> Drill Rig(LAR)equipped with 8.25-inch diameter hollow stem augers to drill-out wells MW-3 j <br /> I <br /> 837 Shaw Road • Stockton.
