SCOPE OF WORK <br /> AGE proposes to advance one off-site pilot soil boring to a depth of 28 feet bsg to collect soil <br /> samples and install a ground water monitoring well, the proposed location of the soil boring is <br /> presented on Figure 2 The scope of work for ground water monitoring well installation activities <br /> will include of the following tasks <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities, <br /> • Soil sample collection and analysis, <br /> • Monitonng well installation and development, <br /> • QuarterIy ground water monitoring program, and <br /> • • Report preparation <br /> 3 1 PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> Applicable site assessment and encroachment permits will be obtained from the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(EHD)and City of Lathrop,respectively An update to the health <br /> and safety plan presently on-file will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health <br /> Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for Occupational Safety <br /> and Health Administration, U S Coast Guard and U S Environmental Protection Agency, 1985) <br /> Prior to mobilization, the proposed monitoring well Iocations will be clearly marked and a utility <br /> clearance obtained through Underground Service Alert The EHD and City of Lathrop will be <br /> notified 48 hours prior to conducting investigation activities <br /> 32 SOIL SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> The pilot boring will be advanced to a depth of 28 feet below surface grade(bsg) Soil samples will <br /> be collected from the soil boring at a minimum of five-foot intervals Procedures for advancement <br /> of the pilot boring and soil sampling are presented in Section 4 1 <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
