The SSP must be reviewed and signed by all on- <br /> site employees, subcontractors, and visitors prior to entering the site. General safe work <br /> practices are identified in the Smith Technology Corporation's Injury and Illness Prevention <br /> Manual and apply to all Smith Technology work sites. <br /> The provisions set-forth in this SSP shall apply to Smith Technology employees and any <br /> subcontractors working for Smith Technology at the job site. All personnel working for Smith <br /> Technology at the job site must read this SSP, and sign the attached Compliance Agreement <br /> before entering the work area. Field personnel may deviate from the safety provisions set-forth <br /> in this SSP, but only to upgrade or increase the safety requirements. Smith Technology <br /> personnel may suspend work if unsafe working conditions are identified or observed, or <br /> unauthorized modifications to the safety provisions set-forth in this SSP are made. If changes <br /> in site or working conditions require changes in safety procedures, appropriate amendments to <br /> this SSP will be provided by the Smith Technology project manager or supervisor, with the <br /> written approval of a Smith Technology project safety officer or the Smith Technology Health <br /> and Safety Director. <br /> PACE 3 <br />
