Mike Infurna [EH]
From: Neary, Leigh [Leigh.Neary@arcadis-us.com]
Sent: Wednesday, October 27, 2010 9:27 AM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: RE: Stockton well destruction and permitting question
Good morning Mike—
I am checking in to see if you received the permit application I sent on October 19th for 401 N. San Jose Street in
Stockton.
I had a few questions for you.
1) So you can plan your inspection time, our schedule is shown below:
We are planning on starting air knifing Thursday, November 4. This will be just for the monitoring
wells and maybe the first CPT point. No work is planned for Friday November 5. CPTs and monitoring wells
will be drilled beginning on Monday, November 8th potentially through November 11th
2) Have you had a chance to review the permit and do you have any questions so far? Do you think we will
received approval by November 4th?
3) Because we want to get CPT data in the shallow intervals and want to make sure the work is done as safely
as possible, we were hoping to air knife at 3 locations around each CPT point in a triangular fashion (about 2
feet away and 120 degrees apart from each other for borehole clearance at the CPT point). Do you foresee any
problems with this approach?
Thanks for all of your guidance through this process. Let me know if there is any more information I can provide.
Leigh Neary, EIT I Environmental Engineer I I_eigh.Neary@arcadis-us.com
ARCADIS U.S., Inc. 1100 Montgomery St, Suite 300 1 San Francisco, CA, 94109
T.415.374.2744 x 15 IM. 510.965.5211 1 F.415.374.2745
www.arcadis-us.com
ARCADIS, Imagine the result
Please consider the environment before printing this email.
From: Phillips, Hollis
Sent: Monday, October 18, 2010 10:11 AM
To: Neary, Leigh
Subject: FW: Stockton well destruction and permitting question
FYI
From: Mike Infurna [EH] [mailto:MInfurna@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Monday, October 18, 2010 8:23 AM
To: Phillips, Hollis
Subject: RE: Stockton well destruction and permitting question
Good morning Hollis,
10/27/2010
