Sierra Nevada <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) has received the "Work Plan for Well <br /> Abandonment/Destruction" dated April 30, 1996, prepared by <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental , Inc. (AGE) for the above referenced <br /> site . <br /> The monitoring wells at this site should not be destroyed until <br /> PHS/EHD has determined that the site should be closed and Central <br /> Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) has been <br /> provided a 30 day notification that PHS/EHD proposes to provide <br /> site closure. <br /> In August 1995, PHS/EHD reviewed the "Quarterly Report - May <br /> 1995 " dated July 28, 1995, prepared by AGE for this site . <br /> PHS/EHD requested a meeting with AGE to discuss contaminant load <br /> levels and parameters used in the computer modelling included in <br /> the report . <br /> On October 4, 1995 , PHS/EHD and AGE staff changed some of the <br /> Seisoil computer model parameters which generated different <br /> information regarding the potential threat to groundwater the <br /> contamination remaining in the soil at this site poses . AGE was <br /> to submit a hard copy of the information generated on this date <br /> to PHS/EHD. <br /> In March 1996, PHS/EHD reviewed the "Quarterly Report - September <br /> 1995" dated December 12, 1995 , prepared by AGE for this. site . <br /> This report included some of the information generated from the <br /> Seisoil computer model completed October 4 , 1995 . AGE is to <br /> submit the remaining computer model information as an addendum to <br /> the report to PHS/EHD. <br />! Once PHS/EHD is satisfied with the computer model information <br /> provided, that information is to be included in a report <br /> requesting closure for the site. The closure report will be <br /> provided to all members of the Technical Review Committee (TRC) <br /> 30 days prior to the committee meeting.
