The reports were delivered to the business on 5/5/2014 and 5/26/2017, respectively. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a <br /> written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to <br /> subdivision (a)of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the <br /> department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require,which shall include a statement documenting <br /> corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator,for <br /> purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation. The local agency,the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, requires response within 30 days. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION:A white spill control drum kit, located in an outside area on the east side of the facility near the <br /> ramp, contained standing oily liquid and grime on its lid. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire, explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean all free oil from the top of the drum. Manage the waste according to <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste.
