i <br /> The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for FWS CONSTRUCTION as of March 27, 2020. <br /> Open violations from January 14, 2020 inspection <br /> Violation#101 -Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. <br /> OBSERVATION This business does not have an active hazardous waste ID number in the California Department <br /> of Toxic Substances Control(DTSC) database. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for <br /> transportation, hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) Identification <br /> (ID) Number. A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per <br /> month, less than 1 kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID <br /> numbers are unique to a business and site location. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC web site at https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ <br /> to reactivate your State ID number . Immediately reactivate your ID number and submit evidence to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #110- Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for the past three <br /> years during the inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance <br /> with section 66262.23(a) for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility <br /> which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a copy of disposal records for the past three years January 14, 2017-January 14, <br /> 2020 for all hazardous waste including used oil, used oil filters, and metal fines.
