well as all other delays not attributable to the following actions are the <br /> Contractor's (drilling) responsibility. <br /> 1. A change in scope, <br /> 2. Direction of the supervising geologist, and <br /> 3. Direction of the site owner (J.R. Simplot). <br /> Additional work resulting from the above listed causes will be reimbursed <br /> at the unit rates provided by the bidder in the Bid Form. Claims for <br /> reimbursement for additional work will only be honored when such work is <br /> authorized or substantiated by the supervising geologist in writing. <br /> For the purposes of this bid, all work will be assumed to be conducted in <br /> Level C personnel protection. Work required to be performed in Level B <br /> personnel protection will be reimbursed at the combined rate of Level C plus Level <br /> B premium hourly rate quoted by the bidder on the bid form and as approved by <br /> the supervising geologist in writing. <br /> 1.5 Protection of the Site <br /> Excepting as otherwise provided herein, the Contractor shall protect all <br /> structure, walks, pipelines, trees, shrubbery, lawns, etc., during the progress of <br /> this work. He shall also remove from the site all unused materials; and shall, <br /> upon completion of the work, restore the site as nearly as possible to its original <br /> conditions, including the replacement, at the Contractor's expense, of any facility <br /> or landscaping which has been damaged beyond restoration. <br /> 1.6 Disposition of Soils and Groundwater <br /> Soils (cuttings) produced as part of the drilling operation shall be placed <br /> 5 <br />
