7.0 EXISTING EXTRACTION WELL (EW-4) DECOMMISSION <br /> Existing extraction well (EW-4) will be converted into a permanent <br /> monitoring well. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to dismantle the <br /> existing extraction well EW-4 well head. Prior to dismantling, the existing well <br /> head piping will be removed and placed at a location near the groundwater <br /> treatment facility located on J.R. Simplot property as specified by supervisory <br /> personnel. Following the removal of the well head piping components, the <br /> existing concrete pad and chain link fencing shall be removed and hauled away <br /> by the Contractor. A locking metal cap will be placed on the remaining well stick- <br /> up. <br /> 24 <br />
