GEOMATAIX <br /> C. Extraction Wells <br /> Extraction wells will be sampled while extraction is occurring. Samples will be collected from <br /> an in-line sampling port after purging the sampling line. Samples will be collected directly into <br /> laboratory-prepared bottles. <br /> A WELL SAMPLING AND/OR DEVELOPMENT RECORD will be used to record the <br /> following information: <br /> • Sample I.D. <br /> • Duplicate I.D.,if applicable <br /> • Date and time sampled <br /> • Name of sample collector <br /> • Well designation(State well numbering system for water supply wells,and unique <br /> sequential number for other wells) <br /> • Owner's name,or other common designation for water supply wells <br /> • Well diameter <br /> • Depth to water on day sampled <br /> • Casing volume on day sampled <br /> • Method of purging(bailing,pumping,etc.) <br /> • Amount of water purged <br /> • Extraordinary circumstances(if any) <br /> • Results of instrument calibration/standardization and field measurements(temper- <br /> ature,pH,specific electrical conductance)and observed relative turbidity <br /> • Depth from which sample was obtained <br /> • Number and type of sample container(s) <br /> • Purging pump intake depth <br /> • Times and volumes corresponding to water quality measurement <br /> IADoc Safe\PR0T0C0L\PR0T0-MW.doc SAMPLING oP GROUNDWATER MONITORING WELLS AND WATER SUPPLY WFLL4 <br /> Revision Date: March 1996 Page 4 of 9 <br />
