I
1
All excavation as shown on the attached plates as well as figures I - 3
will be sloped from a high point on the east side of the project toward
the up-stream and down-stream protions of the river. The effect of this
will be to force the river back into its existing channel and prevent the
development of an avulsive cut across the eastern portion of the property.
This cut, now developed approximately 600 feet into the south bank of the
Property now threatens to sever approximately 20 acres of property and
result in the development of a new river channel. The impact to other
sections of the river and to other facilities on the river are believed
to be potentially serious. The proposed projr^t is designed to eliminate
this threat.
Location of the recovery process(es) :
The screening operation will be conducted immediately adjacent to the
excavation site. All operations will be conducted as wet operations.
Mining Activities Operating Hours Days of the Week
Blasting
Off-site hauling 7:00 - 3:30 M - F
Ore extraction 7:00 - 3:30 M - F
Crushing/processing 7:00 - 3:30 M - F
Other (specify)
Industrial water requirements:
Amount required per day Water truck cap 3500 Gal X 4
Source River and on-site Well
Source of domestic water:
Private well X Water district (specify which)
Other
Method of sewage disposal:
Septic system Sewer district (specify which)
Holding Tank Other Portable Toilet
- Page 6 -
