A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a <br /> grading permit issued by the Building Inspection Division <br /> prior to performing any excavation or filling of earth <br /> material : <br /> a . A grading plan shall contain the information listed in <br /> the U.B.C. , Appendix, Chapter 70, Section 7006 (d) . <br /> b. The grading plan shall include complete drainage <br /> details and elevations of the adjacent parcels. <br /> Retaining wall details shall be submitted where <br /> applicable. <br /> c. Grading in excess of 5 , 000 cubic yards shall comply <br /> with Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading <br /> Requirements. " <br /> d. All recommendations of the soils/project engineer shall <br /> be incorporated in the grading plans. <br /> e. All compaction reports must be submitted prior to <br /> issuance of a building permit. <br /> f. Existing elevation certificates are required for lots <br /> in the 100 year flood zone. <br /> JH/mds <br />
