The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin <br /> Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall <br /> be incorporated in the construction plans before <br /> submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> a . The proposed building, because of its occupancy <br /> classification, must be of Type I construction <br /> as required by Uniform Building Code, Section <br /> 1802 . The aluminum dome does not qualify <br /> as Type I construction. <br /> b. The proposed aluminum dome does not meet the <br /> requirements set forth in Uniform Building Code <br /> Section 1806 for an unprotected roof system. <br /> In accordance with this section, the roof must be <br /> constructed of heavy timber or noncombustible <br /> materials . The test data submitted for aluminum <br /> alloys do not qualify as noncombustible under <br /> Uniform Building Code Section 415 . In addition, <br /> the Building must be an A2 . 1, one story in height, <br /> the roof clearance must be less than 25 feet and <br /> cannot exceed 35% of the area, and the building <br /> must be fire sprinklered throughout to qualify <br /> under Section 1806. <br /> C. All exiting requirements shall comply with Uniform <br /> Building Code, Chapter 33. The cross-aisles and <br /> side exits as shown on the preliminary plan do not <br /> meet the requirements of Section 3316. <br /> 2 . A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a <br /> grading permit issued by the Building Inspection <br /> Division prior to performing any excavation or filling <br /> of earth material : <br />
