r= <br /> Advanced <br /> GeoEnvironmental, Inc . <br /> 03 March 2003 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 03-0998 <br /> Mr. Gary Backe <br /> TANK SPECIALISTS OF CALIFORNIA <br /> 1379 Pico Street <br /> Corona, CA 92881 <br /> Subject: Under Ground Storage Tank Removal Soil Sample Analysis <br /> ANGELICA TEXTILE <br /> 1145 South Sierra Nevada Street,Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr. Backe: <br /> At your request,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.(AGE)has prepared this report documenting soil <br /> sampling for removal of one underground storage tank(UST)at 1145 South Sierra Nevada Street, <br /> Stockton, California. <br /> FUEL TANK REMOVAL <br /> On 11 February 2003, one 12,000-gallon diesel UST, piping and dispenser was removed from the <br /> site. The UST was removed by Tank Specialists of California under permit from the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD). <br /> SOIL SAMPLING <br /> Following removal of the UST on 11 February 2003, a total of twelve soil samples were collected <br /> from the site. Three soil samples were collected from the floor of the excavation(T1-W, TI-C and <br /> Tl-E);one soil sample was collected beneath the dispenser island(D-1);and eight soil samples were <br /> collected from the excavated soil (SP-1 through SP-8). <br /> Soil samples collected using a metric soil.samples loaded with pre-cleaned 6-inch by 2-inch <br /> diameter brass sleeves. Upon collected of the samples, the ends of each brass sleeve were covered <br /> with Teflon sheets, capped and sealed with tape.
