20 June 2002 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 01-0827 <br /> Page 4of6 <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as diesel and/or motor oil(TPH-d and TPH-mo) in <br /> accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified, <br /> • Benzene,toluene,ethyl benzene and total xylene(BTEX)and methyl tert--butyl ether(MTBE) <br /> in accordance with EPA methods 8020 and <br /> • Four soil samples from the soil borings will be analyzed for total lead and wet lead (STLC) <br /> in accordance with EPA Method 700. <br /> Laboratory reports for soil analyses, testing methods, laboratory duality assurance quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations. <br /> 3.3. GRAB GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Grab ground water samples will be collected from three prone borings using a Geoprobe water <br /> sampling assembly. Samples will be collected into 40-m1 volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials, 1-liter <br /> amber containers and 500-m1 plastic containers, as appropriate for the required analyses Ground <br /> water sample collection procedures are presented in Section 4.1.2. <br /> Ground water samples will be analyzed by a DHS-certified laboratory for: <br /> • TPH-d by EPA Method 8015 Modified; <br /> • BTEX by EPA Method 8020; and <br /> • Total lead and dissolved lead in accordance with EPA Method 700. <br /> Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality <br /> control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report <br /> with the findings and recommendations. <br /> 3.4. REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the investigation. The report will include a description of the work <br /> performed and results of the sampling and analysis. Conclusions, applicable recommendations, <br /> including the feasibility of soil excavation if necessary, maps and cross-sections will be included in <br /> the report. The report will be in a format acceptable to the EHD and the CVRWQCB, and will be <br /> reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist. If hydrocarbon-impacted ground water is <br /> encountered at the site, a recommendation for the installation of ground water monitoring wells will <br /> be included in the report. <br /> [dvuncedC�,Hnvsronme=i .Inc. <br />
