Three 2-in shallow vapor wells,a Gast R6P155R 50 vacuum blower(max.85 cu in of H2O and 280 <br /> std.cu.ft/min),subsurface piping,extraction control system within a remediation shed will be <br /> installed and connected with existing vapor wells on site. <br /> 2. Granular activated carbon will be used for off-gas abatement. <br /> 3. Three 2-in.air sparge wells,a Gast 6066-PI22A rotaryvance compressor(max.201b./sq.in.and 55 <br /> std cu.ft/min) and associated piping and valve control will be installed for the air sparge component <br /> of the remediation system. <br /> 4. Trenches will be dug for the piping layout of the remediation system. <br /> 5. Electrical power source (220V 150 am)will be installed for the system. <br /> 6. Periodic sampling(influent and effluent air samples)to evaluate the effectiveness of the system and <br /> emission level. <br /> CONIMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. Obtain well permits from PI-IS/EM and any other required permits from appropriate agencies <br /> before commencement of work. <br /> 2. Provide all measurements,sample results,and all other information on the state and effectiveness of <br /> the system to PHS/EHD as soon as possible within the first month after start-up. Coordinate all site <br /> visits with PHS/EHD. <br /> 3. Work should commence no later than March 31,2001. <br /> 4.
