Attending
the meeting were you, John Fukomoto, Wayne Smith, and Sharla Hardy
representing City of Stockton (COS), Jeanne Homsey representing ATC
Associates (ATC), William Little representing Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
(AGE), and Margaret Lagorio, Dot Lofstrom, and Jeff Wong representing
PHS/EHD. The following is a summary of the site discussions at the meeting
and other comments.
Fontana Drive at Smith Canal
At the previous meeting in July 2000 it was agreed that a report of the
pump test and two additional quarterly monitoring reports (QMR) including
a mass balance calculation and a fate and transport evaluation of the
remaining contaminants would be submitted to PHSIEHD. PHS/EHD has
received the pump test report and the first of the two QMR. The second
QMR including a mass balance calculation and fate and transport
evaluation will be submitted to PHSIEHD by the end of the year.
An irrigation well has been discovered on the property where the new
Safeway facility is being constructed. This well should be added to the
well survey for this site.
v/110 W. Sonora
The COS informed PHSIEHD of their plan to rebuild the training tower and
repave the ground at this site. As long as construction has no effect on
the investigation or remediation of the contamination PHSIEHD has no
concern with the rebuilding of the tower. PHS/EHD has received Design
Plans and Specifications for Soil and Groundwater remediation dated
October 5, 2000 prepared by ATC Associates, Inc. PHSIEHD will
comment on this plan by December 31, 2000.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
