Attending the meeting were Sharla Hardy,Wayne Smith, and you representing City of
Stockton(COS),With
Little representing Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. (AGE),Jeanne Homsey
representing ATC Associates(ATC);and Margaret Lagorio and Jeff Wong representing EHD. The following is
a summary of the site discussions at the meeting.
Fontana Drive at Smith Canal
The City of Stockton Municipal Utilities District has terminated their dewatering activities near the
site. The analytical result for total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel(TPH-d)in the water sample
collected from the only consistently contaminated monitoring well,I f -4,which was collected after
the dewatering activities is 85 milligrams per liter(mg/1),which is a significant drop in the TPH-diesel 1
concentration. Results of all the other monitoring well samples were non-detect. EHD will submit a 1
request for concurrence on our no further action required determination for this site to the Central
Valley Regional Water Quality'Control Board.
110 W.Sonora
Ozone sparging remediation for the site contamination started on July 28,2003. Analytical results of
the water sample from vapor well VW2d increased in concentration. Ozone sparging will continue for
another 3 months. If concentrations continue to increase or remain the same (no dissolved mass
reduction),installation of manufacturer designed ozone diffuser wells or other clean up technology
may be required.
1740 Houston
The dissolved plume has been defined and EHD has reviewed a fate and transport model
that estimates the potential extent of migration and degradation of the plume. EHD will submit a
request for concurrence on our no further action required determination for this site to the Central
Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board.
I
The next quarterly meeting with the City of Stockton to discuss the status of their sites is scheduled for 10:00
a.m.on January 22,2003,at the offices of EHD.
