(AGE) has prepared the <br /> enclosed Well Destruction work pian for the property located at 110 West Sonora Street, Stockton, <br /> California. The location of the site is illustrated on'Figure 1; a plan of the site is illustrated on <br /> Figure 2.Upon approval of the work plan can schedule field work,AGE has submitted a destruction <br /> permit and permit fees. <br /> INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND <br /> Six ground water monitoring wells(MW-1 through MW-6),eight soil vapor extraction wells(VW-1 <br /> through VW-8) and four in-situ air sparging (IAS) ,wells are presently located at the site. Two <br /> . remediation wells, RW-1 and PZ-1 are located on the site. The SVE and IAS wells are connected, <br /> via subsurface piping, to a manifold area, located at the northwest corner of the parking lot area. <br /> j NON-IMPACTED WELL DESTRUCTION PROCEDURES <br /> Each well without contamination will then be pressure-grouted;pressure(15-20 psi)will be applied <br /> to each well for approximately three minutes to ensure grout penetration into the filter pack. The <br /> grout mixture for all wells will consist of.Type 1/11 portland neat cement and not more than 6 gallons <br /> of water per 94-pound sack of cement. For the, monitoring wells, each well cover box will be <br /> removed and the well will-be subsequently excavated or over-drilled to a depth of approximately 3 <br /> feet below surface grade. A truck-mounted drill rig equipped with 12-inch diameter hollow stem <br /> augers will be utilized.
