gill
6
(5
f
i - ted the presence of dissolved hydrocarbons in some wells sampled,
four subsequent sample rounds including one round conducted by
the San Joaquin Local Health District, indicated none of the
wells tested have detectable concentrations of dissolved hydro-
carbons to date.
i . OBJECTIVES
F .
In consideration of the continuing migration of the contami-
nant plume and proximity of domestic water wells, the Southland
corporation has requested the initiation of a comprehensive
remedial action program while continuing ad."itional site assess-
ment work. The objectives of Groundwater Technology's proposed
work plan include the following:
° Definition of the areal extent of the contaminant
plume and the subsurface hydrogeology beneath the site.
° Protection of existing domestic water wells from being
impact by the migrating contaminant plume.
° Stop migration and provide recovery/treatment of the
. free product and dissolved contaminant plumes.
Address the potential future impacts of hydrocarbon
vapors on buildings in the immediate vicinity of the
b» leak point.
f
° Reduce the concentration of adsorbed contaminants found
within soil pure space above the water table which act
as a continuing source of contamination.
° Modification of the existing water treatment system
to provide a more efficient and cost effective method
of treatment.
3
