F. <br /> I <br /> Problem Assessment Report November 20, 1990 <br /> Fire Engine Company No. 2, Stockton, <br /> California AGS 38009-2 <br /> � <br /> i <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND <br /> Fire Engine Company No.2 is located at 110 West Sonora Street on the southwest cnrner <br /> of Commerce Street and Sonora Street in Stockton,California,as shown on the Site Vicinity <br /> Map (Plate P-1). The approximate location of four existing and one former underground- <br /> ® <br /> storage tank with respect to utilities and other site features are illustrated on the <br /> Generalized Site Plan, (Plate P-2). <br /> Three underground storage tanks.behind.the.southwest corner of the existing fire engine <br /> building (labelecl.7-1.through T-3) include a 550-galIon diesel tank (T-1), a_.1,000-gallon <br /> leaded gasoline tank(T-2),and a 250�gallon waste-oil tank. On the northwest corner of the <br /> fire engine station.a 550-gallon diesel tank(T-4)is present. <br /> it is our understanding from information supplied by the Department of Public Works that <br /> the f6rmer..1,000-gallon unleaded gasoline tank,labeled T-5 on Plate P-2,failed a precision <br /> [eak,test: ;'f he flank rvas.excavated and removed from the site by Stockton Service:Station <br /> Equipment Company on or before April 1, 1987.
