Report of Findings of Soil Sampling and Analysis Page 4
2216 STEWART STREET August 13,2008
WKA No. 8214.01
MtBE was not detected in the soil samples obtained beneath the former 5,000-gallon gasoline
UST and associated fuel dispenser at or above the laboratory-reporting limit.
A summary of the analytical results is presented on Table 1. The soil boring logs are included in
Appendix B. Complete laboratory analytical reports and chain-of-custody documentation are
included in Appendix C.
Conclusions
Visual inspection of the UST on removal reportedly showed no tank defects. Laboratory results
for soil samples collected when the UST was removed in 1989 showed no evidence of petroleum
hydrocarbons having leaked into soil.
Based on field observations and results of laboratory analysis, subsurface soil beneath the former
5,000-gallon gasoline UST and associated fuel dispenser does not appear to be impacted with
MtBE.
Limitations
The statements and conclusions in this report are based upon the scope of work described above
and on observations made on August 1, 2008 as presented above.
