Working To Restore Nature <br /> 5.2.2 Groundwater Treatment <br /> ' Based on telephone conversations with City of Stockton representatives, extracted groundwater <br /> will be directly discharged to the City of Stockton sanitary sewer under a discharge permit issued <br /> ' pursuant to Section 7-089.20, City of Stockton Health and Sanitation Code. Treatment of the <br /> extracted groundwater will not be required; however, a holding tank and lower explosive limit <br /> ' (LEL) meter may be installed to ensure that the gasoline levels in the extracted water do not <br /> reach levels that are either explosive or exceed the guidelines for direct discharge to the sanitary <br /> ' sewer <br /> ' 6.0 PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Based on the results of previous subsurface investigations, RESNA proposes the following <br /> project tasks for remediation of soil and groundwater The tasks are described in detail in <br /> ensuing sections: <br /> ' Task 1.
