depth (1 to 3 feet) of initial areas of excavation within the site. These areas and their letter
designations (A through T) are shown on Figure 2.
Monitoring wells MWA and MW-2 were sampled in August 1992, August 1994, January
1995, June 1995, September 1995, and January-February 1996. MW-2 was buried and could
not be located for sampling in August 1994. Monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-2 have to
date each been sampled and analyzed from two to six times for TPH as gasoline and diesel.
BTEX, halogenated volatile organic compounds (HVOCs), semivolatile organic compounds
(SVOCs), dissolved 17 CAM metals, general minerals, and general inorganics. TPH as
gasoline and TPH as diesel have not been detected. TPH as a hydrocarbon mixture has been
detected at concentrations ranging from 63 micrograms per liter (µg/L) to 260 µg/L.
Benzene has been detected twice in MW-2 at concentrations of 0.65 µg/L and 0.84 µg/L.
Ethylbenzene has been detected once in MW-2 at a concentration of 0.82 µg/L. The HVOCs
1,1-dichloroethane and 1,1,1-trichloroethane have each been detected once in MW-2 at
concentrations of 0.91 µg/L and 0.71 µg/L, respectively. No SVOCs have been detected.
Dissolved lead has not been detected (detection limit of 0.0050 mg/L) in any of the ground
water samples collected to date. Analytical results for the existing site monitoring wells are
summarized in Tables 1 and 2.
I
369-002.rpu08-09-96.0 keydauvoldtracyrreporu;rpt00? 11
TerraNext
