Stanislaus Street RO 0700 <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received and reviewed <br /> Work Plan Addendum (WPA), dated 07 June 2006, submitted by your consultant Condor Earth <br /> Technologies, Inc. (Condor), prepared by Environmental Bio-Systems, Inc. (EBS). The EHD has <br /> previously received and reviewed your work plans Workplan for Ozone Bench Scale Test and <br /> Workplan for Enhanced Bioremediation Bench Test, both dated 27 December 2005, both <br /> prepared by Condor. EHD has also exchanged e-mails with Condor regarding the proposed <br /> scope of work in the work plans and addendum and discussed these documents with the <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Control Board (CVRWQCB). <br /> CVRWQCB has indicated to the EHD that the issue regarding bromate analysis is still being <br /> researched, but that the rest of the analyses proposed in the previously approved portions of the <br /> bench-scale testing and those proposed in the WPA will meet CVRWQCB needs for evaluating <br /> the potential necessity for the CVRWQCB to issue waste discharge requirements (WDR). If any <br /> analyses recommended by the ITRC guidance document are omitted as unnecessary or <br /> repetitive, EBS or Condor should be able to demonstrate that the analyses performed are all <br /> that are needed by the CVRWQCB. Keep in mind that a primary objective of the bench-scale <br /> test is to assist the CVRWQCB in making a determination on the WDR issue. With these <br /> conditions, the EHD approves the bench-scale testing as proposed in the above referenced <br /> documents.
