(Versar) is pleased to present a copy of the Preliminary Assessment/Site <br /> Investigation (PA/SI) Update Report for the subject California Army National Guard (CARNE) <br /> facility (Site). The PA/S1 Update Report presents the findings of our field investigation <br /> perforined during February 2004. <br /> Based on the findings of the investigation a removal action is now funded and under <br /> development for the CSMS paveiinerit upwelling areas-and a:suspect CS burial Site. The removal <br /> action is expected to lead to closure of these two Sites...Additionally, further investigation will <br /> likely be required at .the OMS fortner vehicle fueling station.
