The purpose of <br /> this investigation was to assess the potential for environmental impact at properties adjacent <br /> to the subject site and evaluate whether any of these properties could have contributed to <br /> the dissolved hydrocarbon plume beneath the subject site. Upon review of the available <br /> data, one site of potential concern was identified immediately south of the subject site, and <br /> a title search was performed for this property. <br /> GSI contracted with Vista Information Solutions, Inc. (Vista) of San Diego, California to <br /> perform a computerized search of available public databases. A copy of the Vista report <br /> is included in Appendix A. In addition, GSI reviewed available database information from <br /> the San Joaquin County Public Health Department (SJCPHD), available aerial photographs <br /> at the San Joaquin County Surveyor's Office (SJCSO), and available fire insurance maps <br /> from the Sanborn Mapping and Geographic Information Service (Sanborn Company). <br /> Copies of the available Sanborn maps are included in Appendix B. Vista also performed <br /> the title search. A copy of the title search is included in Appendix C. Data obtained from <br /> these sources are discussed below. <br /> DATABASE SEARCH <br /> Vista searched 16 databases and identified a total of 117 sites within a one-mile radius of <br /> the subject site.
