Former Unocal Service Station No. 0187 <br /> May 11, 1995 <br /> site. The databases searched and the results of this search are summarized on page 1 of <br /> the Vista report. <br /> During this study, GSI focused on those sites within 1/4-mile of the subject site. The Vista <br /> database search identified 11 sites within one-quarter mile southwest, south, or southeast <br /> of the subject site. Groundwater monitoring data from the subject site indicates that <br /> groundwater in the site vicinity flows generally from the south-southeast to the <br /> north-northwest. Four sites (identified at 8, 10, 12, and 21A in the Vista report) were <br /> listed as having abovegound or underground storage tanks, but were not reported to be <br /> under investigation for leaks or spills. These sites are located between 0.13 and 0.24 miles <br /> to the southwest, south, and southeast of the site. One site (identified as 5B in the Vista <br /> report) located 0.10 mile south of the subject site was identified as being listed on the State <br /> Equivalent CERCLIS List. The nature of the contamination at this site are not noted in <br /> the Vista report. The site status is listed as "no further action." <br /> Four sites within 1/4-mile south, southwest, or southeast of the subject site appear on <br /> State, regional, or county leaking underground storage tank (LUST) lists. Jackson Buick, <br /> located at 415 E. Miner Avenue (identified as 1B in the Vista report), is situated <br /> approximately 0.05-mile west-southwest of the subject site. This site is listed on the <br /> RCRA generator list, the State LUST list, the Regional LUST list, and the State <br /> underground storage tank (UST) list. Hydrocarbons are listed as the substance involved <br /> in the State LUST list, and the affected media are listed as soil/sand/land. The remedial <br /> status of this site is listed as Preliminary Assessment. <br /> The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services and the San Joaquin County <br /> Government Building, located at 222 East Webiaer Avenue (identifiers as 14 in the Vista <br /> report), is approximately 0.19 mile southwest of the subject site. This site is listed on the <br /> Cortese list, the State UST list, and the State and Regional LUST lists. The Vista report <br /> indicates that the substance released was gasoline, that the media affected were <br /> soil/sand/land, and that remedial action has been taken at this site. <br /> The Raymond Investment Corporation site, located at 145 North Grant Street (identified <br /> as 15 in the Vista report), is approximately 0.2 mile east-southeast of the subject site. The <br /> site is listed on the State and Regional UST lists, and the State UST lists. The Vista report <br /> indicated that the substance released was diesel, and that the remedial status is preliminary <br /> assessment. The affected media are listed as soil/sand/land. <br /> The Weber Enterprises site, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company site, Civic Center <br /> Parking site, and Traverso Bros. Shell site are identified as 22 in the Vista report. These <br /> sites are located approximately 0.24 to 0.25 mile southwest of the subject site. Weber <br /> 482TD4-1 2 GeoStrategies <br />
