On February 27, 1997 official notification, the "Notice of <br /> Responsibility" letter, was sent to Sutter Office Center documenting that this placement had been <br /> made. <br /> In separate correspondence dated February 27, 1997, PHS/EHD requested a work plan be <br /> submitted by June 1, 1997 to begin the investigation of possible soil and/or ground water <br /> contamination at the above referenced site. To date no work plan has been received by <br /> PHS/EHD. <br /> Review of the file and recent communication with both the City of Stockton Fire Prevention <br /> Bureau and the City of Stocking Planning Department indicate that at two separate time periods <br /> gasoline service stations operated at the site. Please submit to PHS/EHD by April 30, 1999 a <br /> work plan to investigate the vertical and lateral extent of possible hydrocarbon <br /> contamination at the above referenced site.
