SUTTER STREET, STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> (Site Code # 9327, APN 139-250-05) <br /> Dear Betty, <br />' Presented herein are the results of oui evaluation of the residual hydiocaibolls in the soil <br /> and groundwater at a former service station site located on the southwest cornea of East <br /> Miner Avenue and California Street in Stockton, California <br />' SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />' Oui firm undertook an investigation on July 10, 2000 in response to San Joaquin <br /> County's Oversight Program, which requires certification of closed underground storage <br /> tanks Our study indicated that there is some residual hydrocarbon in the soil and <br />' groundwater in the northeast corner of the site Subsequently, the San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division, requested that we provide a <br />' Work Plan and undertake additional studies to assist in delineating the extent of <br /> contamination, to install three monitoring wells and to provide other relative information <br /> Specifically, the scope of our services consists of the following tasks <br />' 1. Install 3 monitoring wells at the same depth on-site to encounter first groundwater <br /> and deter mine its direction and gi adient Obtain groundwater samples fi om the <br />' monitoring wells and analyzed them for total petroleum hydi ocarbons gasoline and <br /> diesel, BTEX, MTBE and oxygenated additives, 1,2,-DCA and EDB <br />' 2 Obtain disciete groundwater samples on-site at depths of 50 and 90 feet by means of <br /> 0) direct push piezometer probe and test for constituents listed under task 1 <br />
