• Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan <br /> SUTTER OFFICE CENTER <br /> 242 North Sutter Street, Stockton, California <br /> 10. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br /> At the request of Ms Jule Lozano of the SUTTER OFFICE CENTER,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, <br /> Inc has prepared this work plan for additional soil and ground water investigation at 242 North <br /> Sutter Street in Stockton, California, also designated 334 to 448 East Miner Avenue The site <br /> location is illustrated in Figure 1, a site plan is depicted in Figure 2 and a cross section of the site <br /> with new well screens is presented in Figure 3 <br /> The scope of work includes installation of two shallow and one deeper ground water monitoring wells <br /> to better characterize lithology, aid$�in the assessment of the vertical and lateral extent of impacted <br /> soil and ground water,and model potential contaminant migration pathways at the site Background <br /> information and a site conceptual model is included in Appendix A <br /> This Work Plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) by letter dated 13 December 2004, the plan was prepared in accordance with <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) guidelines for the subsurface <br /> investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 2 0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> To better characterize lithology,aide in the assessment of the vertical and lateral extent of impacted <br /> soil and ground water, and model potential contaminant migration pathways at the site,completion <br /> of the following tasks are required <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities, <br /> • Drilling and soil sample collection, <br /> • Monitoring well installation and development, <br /> • Ground water sampling and analysis, and <br /> • Preparation of quarterly reports <br /> 21 PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK ACTIVITIES <br /> Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained from the PHS-EHD In addition, an update to <br /> the health and safetyplan presently on-file will be prepared in accordance with Occupational Safety <br /> and Health Guidance Manual for Hazardous Waste Site Activities (National Institute for <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
