After review of the request and
supporting arguments, we have decided to find in your favor and to accept the claim for
conditional acceptance on the Priority List.
At least once a year, the Priority List is updated through the State Board adoption process.
Newly eligible claims are added to the list at that time.
Placement on the adopted Priority List does not indicate that your claim is valid, nor does it
constitute a commitment to reimburse the costs requested in your claim.
After adoption of the Priority List, staff will review, verify, and process applications based
on the priority and rank within the priority class. During the detailed review, staff may
request additional information to verify eligibility. Once review of the application is
complete and the claim is determined to be valid, a Letter of Commitment will be issued
obligating funds toward the cleanup. If the detailed review determines that your claim is
unacceptable or ineligible, you will be notified of the intent to remove your claim from the
Priority List.
If you have any questions, please contact Barbara Andersen at (916) 227-4417.
Sincerely,
Lydia Bracco, Team Leader - Region 5
Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund
cc: Ms. Diane Hinson
San Joaquin County EHD
P.Q.
