URS <br /> •` RDDDVIDD <br /> August 11, 2005 <br /> AUG 2 2005 <br /> ENVIROMIENT HEALTH <br /> Mr Harlin Knoll PPRP 11TISERVICES <br /> R E H S 11194 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department 06 a3 <br /> 304 E Weber Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> RE Sensitive Receptor Survey <br /> Former BP Retail Site No 11194 <br /> 2375 Tracy Boulevard, <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Dear Mr Knoll <br /> On behalf of Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO — a BP affiliated company), URS Corporation <br /> Americas (URS) is providing this report to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (SJCEHD) to document the results of the sensitive receptor survey conducted for BP Retail Site 11194 <br /> (site) located at 2375 Tracy Boulevard in Tracy, California This receptor survey was requested by your <br /> office in the letter dated August 8, 2005 (Attachment A) <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of N Tracy Boulevard and Grant Line <br /> Road in Tracy, California (Figure 1) The site formerly operated as a Mobile retail gasoline station <br /> Currently, the site is operating as a Seventy-Six (76) retail gasoline station The site is surrounded by <br /> commercial properties <br /> In August 1986, four gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs) were removed and replaced Site <br /> investigations have been ongoing since 1986 A total of 14 groundwater monitoring wells have been <br /> installed at the site A pump and treat groundwater remediation system was operated at the site from <br /> 1992 until 1996 Depth to groundwater at the site currently ranges from 5 to 7 feet below ground <br /> surface (bgs) Groundwater flow direction beneath the site is to the northwest <br /> SENSITIVE RECEPTOR SURVEY <br /> During the third quarter of 2005, URS performed a sensitive receptor survey at the site to identify the <br /> locations of water wells (municipal, domestic, and agricultural) within 2000-feet, and surface water <br /> bodies, schools, and other receptors within 500 feet for BP Retail Site No 11194 The survey consisted <br /> of review of Department of Water Resources (DWR) San Joaquin District office well information for <br /> URS Corporation <br /> Crown Corporate Center <br /> 2870 Gateway Oaks Drive, Suite 300 <br /> Sacramento CA 95833 <br /> Tel 916 679 2000 <br /> Fax 916 679 2900 K 1Wprocess135 BP ARCOV]1941SensiUve Receptor Survey 2005 doc <br />
