The well survey comparison is typical to re-survey the new wells with the old wells, sometimes ,
sometimes, the numbers are a little different and the comparison can only correct any differences, which the
survey team will usually preferred, and their is no difference in costs for the survey cost. Therefore, the well
survey procedures will only supply the best information for ground water elevation data. Thanks for your attention
in the matter.
ps .Anna is no longer working on the project and I can typically answer basic questions.
-----Original Message-----
From: Vicki McCartney [EH] [mailto:vmccartney@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Monday, August 14, 2006 4:04 PM
To: wlittle@advgeoenv.com
Subject: Work plan submitted for Lopez Property
Bill,
received Additional Site Assessment Work Plan Addendum for Lopez Property dated July 21, 2006. This
work plan was not signed by a professional geologist. Will you please resubmit this work plan after it has
been reviewed and signed by you or another professional geologist at AGE? Also, the last paragraph on
the second page of this work plan addendum states that"the top of each existing and newly installed well
casing (well head), and one existing well head at the adjacent 1607 Turnpike Road site, will be
surveyed to determine its elevation relative to mean sea level. The survey of one well at the adjacent
property will be utilized to correct for any discrepancies in relative casing elevations, and will ensure
consistent groundwater flow modeling." I checked and Morrow Surveying surveyed the wells at both the
Lopez Property and the Comfort Air sites within three months of each other. Is it necessary to resurvey the
top of existing well heads at the Lopez Property site and one existing well head at the Comfort Air site to
ensure consistent groundwater flow modeling?
Thanks, Bill.
Vicki McCartney,Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
304 E.Weber Avenue
Stockton, CA 95202-2708
Phone: (209)468-3456
Fax: (209)468-3433
E-mail: vmccartney@sjcehd.com
8/15/2006
