Union Street, Stockton . <br /> Site Code 241434 <br /> Dear Laurie, <br /> This letter is in response to your letter of October 1, 1990 to Mike McNulty of <br /> the Union Ice Company. <br /> Union Ice has already remediated the soils from this site through our <br /> subcontractors, Semco and McCain Environmental Services. The soils that were <br /> excavated were originally stockpiled at the Union Street site. Union Ice no longer <br /> owns the site, so WIC' Environmental obtained permission from Darlene Reuss to <br /> move the soil to 1320 Weber Street in Stockton. This address is a large Union Ice site <br /> where aeration and bioremediation were performed. Aeration was performed by <br /> _McCain Environmental Services-under permit with the San joaquin.county Air <br /> Pollution Control District. Bioremediation was subsequently performed to deal with <br /> the heavier hydrocarbon fractions. All of this was done with the full knowledge of <br /> your department. <br /> The remediation, as stated, is completed. WIC' Environmental will be sending <br /> your department a final report on the 425 Union Street site within the next 30 days. <br /> Included in that report will be a final report on the soil remediation, including all <br /> analytical data. To date, I have been unable to contact Darlene Reuss in regard to your <br /> letter, and I will continue to make the attempt. <br /> { <br />
