PHSIEHD has the following comments for.your consideration. 1 <br /> The revised work plan proposed to collect soil and soil gas samples to evaluate possible residual <br /> contamination. Samples which are collected will undergo EPAMethods 8020 and 8015 modified. <br /> Should soil contamination be evidenced, PHSIEHD recommends that site specific lithological <br /> parameters be included for analysis as well as TCLP.information that can be used for environmental <br /> fate evaluation. <br /> s . <br /> Groundwater sampling should also be conducted and presented in the summary report. <br /> Please note that PHSIEHD indicated in correspondence dated April 10, 1996 that the boreholes should <br /> be destroyed using neat cement rather than bentonite chips. Should you wish to use bentonite as a <br /> grouting material, an approved bentonite slurry shoWd be used.
