Drummed Soil and Groundwater Disposal Management <br /> ICI= Kaiser will assist Union lee in the waste management of the drums of drill cutting <br /> soil and monitor well purge and development water located at 425 North Union Street. Water <br /> samples will be collected from semen drums currently located onsite. The water samples will <br /> be analyzed using EPA Methods for TPH-e, TPH-g and RTEX. The number of drums may <br /> change as the quarterly groundwater monitoring progresses and the selected analytes may <br /> Change based on the disposal requirements of the regulatory agency. Based on the results <br /> of the waster-filled drum sampling, the appropriate regulatory agency will be oontacted to <br /> determine disposar options (including sanitary sewer If appropriate). <br /> ICF Kaiser will evaluate disposal and treatment options for the drums of drill cutting <br /> sails based on the previous analyses of soH samples collected during the boring and wail <br /> drilling activities that generated the soil cuttings. No sampling of they soil within the drums Is <br /> eurrsntfy proposed. The empty drums may be considorad for recycling once the contents of <br /> Me drums are removed. This Work Plan does not include transportation or <br /> disposal/treatment of c onterris of existing drums located at the 42,9 North Union Street Site. <br /> Task 4: Project Management <br /> Dr. John M. Farr, P.E., will act as the project manager and chief engineer; Mr. Marc <br /> Silva w€ll act as field coordinator and project geologist. <br /> 4.0 PROJECT SCHEDULE <br /> IGF Kaiser anticipates that the tasks outlined In this Work Plan will be completed within <br /> 30 days after receipt of written approval from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> bivi$ion. The results of the remadiated soil conf€rmetion sampling and the drummed water <br /> characterization sampling will be provided in a report submitted to the San .Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Division and the Union Ice Limited Partnership within 30 days after <br /> receipt of the analytical results from the laboratory. <br />
