The label was missing <br /> the physical state,the hazardous property and did not have an accumulation start date. <br /> In the boneyard,two 55-gallon containers,with an unknown amount of waste,were labeled"HAZARDOUS WASTE" <br /> only. The labels were missing the name and address of the facility, composition of the waste, physical state, <br /> hazardous property and the accumulation start date. <br /> One unlabeled, open, partially-full 55-gallon drum of solid dark treated paint waste was observed outside, east of the <br /> compressor room. This hazardous paint waste was sampled by the EHD and found to contain 51,000 mg/kg zinc. <br /> The container was missing all hazardous waste labeling requirements. <br /> In the treatment area, one open, unlabeled,white 5 gallon bucket contained treated paint waste. This hazardous <br /> paint white solid waste was sampled by the EHD and found to contain 120,000 mg/kg zinc.The container was <br /> missing all hazardous waste labeling requirements. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information:the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
