EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN <br /> Fire Emergencies <br /> When fire is discovered: <br /> • Activate the nearest fire alarm. <br /> • Notify the local fire department by calling 911 or 209-937-8032. <br /> • Notify site personnel about the fire emergency by the following: <br /> ® Voice Communication ® Radio <br /> ® Phone: Receptionist ❑ Other <br /> Fight the fire only if a//of thefollowing criteria are met: <br /> • The fire department has been notified. <br /> • The fire is small and is not spreading to other areas. <br /> • Escaping the area is possible by backing up to the nearest exit. <br /> • The fire extinguisher is in working condition. <br /> • You are trained to use the extinguisher. <br /> Upon being notified about a fire emergency, all occupants in the facility <br /> must: <br /> • Leave the building using the designated escape routes. <br /> • Assemble in the designated area: Yard Employees — Guard Shack on Ralph <br /> Avenue. Office Employees — parking lot entrance. <br /> • Remain outside until the competent authority Vice President of Operations, <br /> Director of Financial Operations, Operations Manager announces that it is <br /> safe to re-enter. <br /> The following tasks must be carried out by Vice President of Operations, <br /> Director of Financial Operations, Operations Manager: <br /> • Disconnect utilities and equipment unless doing so jeopardizes safety. <br /> • Coordinate an orderly evacuation of personnel. <br /> • Perform an accurate head count of personnel at the designated area. <br /> • Determine a method to locate missing personnel. <br /> • Provide the fire personnel with the necessary information about the facility and <br /> headcount information. <br /> 6 <br />
