I apologize for the timing of our response, 1 was traveling for two weeks and Colin was
unfortunately in an accident that resulted in a broken leg. Colin will be back in the office in another week but
is unfortunately on crutches so John Mattey, PG of our office will take the lead on field work related to the
well destruction. We are revising our work plan to address the need to drill out or wire-line explode the wells.
We will apply the selected technique for each of the wells as only a limited number were historically non-
detect. We are in the process of obtaining the required access agreements to allow this work to proceed. You
also asked about well BC-8 destruction and I have attached a scan of the information that we have in our files
regarding its destruction in 1991.We will use the appropriate nomenclature in future reports and on figures
as you suggested "Destroyed under EDH permit". Please call or email if you have any questions regarding the
attached. I look forward to working with you to accomplish the proper destruction of these wells in
satisfaction of the RWQCB requirement. Best regards, Barbara
Barbara J.
